Oscar de la Renta

We have the funniest dog in the world! He thinks EVERYTHING is about him or for him! Spoiled doesn't begin to describe this dog! Saturday night after the wedding I worked this weekend, I dumped all the white chair covers in our kitchen so I could start washing them. Well, here comes Oscar de la Renta!! He runs as fast as his little legs would let him...and jumps right in the middle of the white chair cover pile! He loved it! Here are some pics of him thinking this is his new bed.

Busy Homecoming Weekend

I am typing this blog with one eye opened and propping my feet up! What a busy weekend at the Jones residence. Our Friday night started with a wedding rehearsal through Elegant Occasions (Meg's Company)......and Hunter entertained Katie, Mary and Amy while I was working. I walked in our house to find Hunter drinking wine with the girls and cooking appetizers! I LOVED it!

Then on Saturday, there was the wedding on....HOMECOMING!.....IN STARKVILLE!!! and then there was the football game. We gave up our tickets to the bride and groom and LOVED being at home during the game....however, we did tailgate....of course! Here are some pis from us tailgating.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday Dad! Sorry we can not be there for your birthday party......but, it's Grey's Night! :)

Dad-

The older I become, I realize more and more how lucky I have always been to have you as my father and friend. Thanks for giving me (and Nathan) the kind of love and friendship that makes a difference all throughout my life. You have given me countless advice (even when I didn't ask), provided a Christian home to grow up in and a life I wouldn't trade for anything.
I love you and Happy Birthday!

I have to admit, I am a big fan of David Letterman's top ten list.....so I thought, how appropriate to give dad his own top ten list! So, here we go.......

Top Ten Favorite Moments with Dad
10. Leaving my 1st day of Kindergarten with Dad (he didn't make me stay)
9. Wearing the TV Halloween costume that Dad made for me.
8. "Helping" dad do my science fair project.
7. Riding 4-wheelers and go-carts with Dad.
6. Double Dating with Dad and Mom (yes, I got to date while I was 15, but with mom and dad!)
5. Hugging my dad after my high school graduation.
4. Reading my letter ("The Journey") from dad for my college graduation
3. Hearing dad say that he liked Hunter and knew he was "the one."
2. Boating with Dad and the family.
1. Dad walking me down the aisle during my wedding.
Happy Birthday Dad! We love you!!

I Gave In!!

I never wanted a personal family blog.....I didn't want people to know our life & business........
and then I started looking at other family blogs....and I loved what I saw. So, obviously I gave in!

I have to give credit to influential blogs:
1. Heather Skaggs (my sister-in-law)
2. Kellie Mathis
3. Macki Smith
4. Heather T. Skaggs

I am so new to this and don't know how much time I have to keep it updated. Heck, I don't even have time to paint my nails....much less keep an online diary. So....here we go!
