Thoughts for Thursday.....

• I still haven't found my spiral bound notebook for comps. And I finally cried about it. 

• I am the new proud owner of a sewing machine! I have not.a.clue as to what I'm doing......but I love it! The sewing machine is part of my new "craft closet" that deserves another post all on it's own. I have dedicated a closet for this sewing machine! 

• While in the Hobby Lobby buying fabric, the fabric lady asked me about my project:
• Lady: Ohh...this is pretty....what are you making?
• Me: a shirt....I think...
• Lady: How long have you been sewing?
• Me: 2 days. 

• I made some "clean eating" brownies tonight. They are not too shabby........however, I don't think I'll be taking them to church or family lunch. The flax seed and whole wheat flour is an acquired taste. 

• School and work have me on a pretty tight schedule right now. However, the light is getting brighter at the end of the tunnel! Is it just me, but everything always hits at one time! 

• When I purchased the new sewing machine......I also purchase some fleece blankets for the doggies. This was going to be my test fabric. Each blanket has 4 hems because I was trying out the settings on the machine. #dogsdon'tcare

• Last night I squealed with delight at the straight line that I sewed in my new shirt! H ran in the "craft closet" and asked if I was ok! He thought I had sewn my finger. He literally said "I was expecting to see blood." Ummmm.....buddy.....thanks for confidence. Appreciate it.
